King's College London
Centre of Construction Law and Management

King's offers an MSc programmes in Construction Law and a Certificate programme in Construction Adjudication.

The London MSc programme

This is the longest-running taught part-time programme of its type in the UK; over 500 lawyers, QSs, engineers, architects and others have successfully completed it. It took more-or-less its present form in 1988, a year after John Uff QC founded the Centre, and remains the Centre’s main teaching activity. It is taught over two years with classes at the Strand Campus, mostly at weekends – it is not a distance-learning programme.

Full details about the London MSc and Diploma programme and about applying to join are available on the Centre's website, http://www.kcl.ac.uk/schools/law/research/cclm.html. Also contact Susan Hart (tel: +44 (0)20 7848 2643).

The Certificate in Construction Adjudication

This is a new, eight-month postgraduate certificate programme for existing and would-be adjudicators and advisers to parties to adjudications (qualified lawyers and construction professionals). Most teaching is shared with the London MSc in Construction Law & Dispute Resolution and credits gained can later be used towards the MSc.

Full details, a prospectus and application pack are available from Susan Hart (tel: +44 (0)20 7848 2643 (susan.hart@kcl.ac.uk).  For further information, follow the links on the Centre’s website, http://www.kcl.ac.uk/gsp08/programme/476.
