A debate on the Court of Appeal’s leading judgment on pay less notices, and ‘smash and grab’ and true value adjudications

Macfarlanes’ Doug Wass, who acted for Grove Developments, and Matthew Thorne of 4 Pump Court, who was counsel for S&T, will debate the Court of Appeal’s landmark judgment, and what the outcome might have been if the case was heard by the Supreme Court today.

Abdul Jinadu of Keating Chambers will be appearing as the DAB chair, to guide the parties towards resolving a dispute arising out of a JCT 2024 contract, concerning archaeological finds, disruption, wind turbines, an absence of good faith and the kitchen sink, using the JCT Dispute Adjudication Board procedure (DAB 2024)
